Harrisburg/Junction City, Oregon. April 27 - May 1, 2011

Back in Harrisburg for more time with mom and dad.  Dad is so responsible and devoted to mom.  He walks across the street from where he lives twice every day to spend time with her.  While there we visited daily...mostly in the evening when dad was there so we could have that time together.  Mom seemed to enjoy having us there and usally felt well enough to talk and joke with us.  She especially likes Betty - they seem to have a special connection.  We had good conversations and both mom and dad reminisced about the raising us "kids".  As we prepare to leave for home back in Alaska I wonder if mom will  still be there in the fall when we return, and if not, what will become of dad when he loses her.
